EzyWine PDA Required Files

These notes are taken from 'Vineyard Management'training notes.  Please refer to these notes for graphical examples.


POCKET PC INTERFACE    
-------------------

A pocket PC or PDA running MS Mobile 5.0 can be utilised to capture analysis in the vineyard.

INSTALLATION
------------
AT YOUR WORKSTATION
--------------------

1. Connect your PDA device to the workstation that has the ActiveSync software installed on it and start the ActiveSync software.

Check that you are connected to the PDA device.

2. Select the Explore button.

3. Select the Mobile Device.

4.  Select the Program Files folder.

5. Copy (ie. paste) the 4 PocketEzy files that were downloaded from the web site into the Program Files folder.

You can now exit the ActiveSync software and disconnect the PDA device.


PDA DEVICE
-----------

You now need to install 4 files that you copied onto the PDA.

1.	Select Start.

2.	Select Programs.

3.	Select File Explorer.

Click on each of the 4 .CAB files that appear in the file list.

For each file select the Device option and then click on the Install button.

A folder called PocketEzy will be created.  

On of the files in this folder will be the PocketEzy program which will start the analysis capture feature when selected.


PocketEzy should now be installed on your PDA device.
